Hello kind readers….
I can’t believe that December is a heartbeat away and so that means one thing: one month until my big party show “Oh Susanna and Friends”. I think this year will be the 7th or 8th time I’ve done it. I try to do them every year unless childbirth or other stubborn things get in the way. I say it is a party show because I invite a bunch of other singer-songwriters to come and strut their stuff (after I have played a few tunes with my all star band). The audience is always fantastic and so is the music. Past guests have included: Justin Rutledge, Andrew Cash (when he was just a lowly musician and not an MP), Stephen Fearing, Jim Bryson, Ruth Moody (of the Wailin’ Jennys), Michael Ondaatje and Jim Cuddy.
